Tuesday’s Prayer Emphasis: The World

Tuesday’s Prayer Emphasis: The World
written by Chris Baker

Recently, my wife purchased a book that focuses on praying for a different county every five days. I would like to invite you to join me in praying for these countries. Each Tuesday I will post a different country for that weeks prayer emphasis.

Today we pray for the World. The world is experiencing the direct result of the last 200 years of missionary work and fervent prayer. Pray that Christianity will continue to spread throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America! Pray that missionaries will continue to rise up throughout the Nations. We are seeing more Muslims come to Christ than at any other time in history. Christianity is also spreading within many Buddhist and Hindu areas. Let us pray for the continued unity of the Church worldwide as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit so that many more will come to faith in Christ Jesus as Lord!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:16-18).
