This is a 6 week sermon series on Authentic Prayer, based on Matthew 6:9-13. There was something different about the way Jesus prayed. Jesus prayed differently than most of His day. Thus, His disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. Matthew 6 describes what is known as The Lord’s Prayer. I believe that Jesus laid out a pattern of prayer for us. This is to be a model of prayer for us. Why did Jesus choose the particular wording that He did? Join us over these next 6 weeks as we learn how to develop an authentic prayer life.

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
