Tuesday Prayer Emphasis: The Family

Tuesday Prayer Emphasis: The Family
written by Chris Baker

Today we pray for families. Marriage is designed to represent the relationship between Christ and the Church. Parents have a huge responsibility in training their children. Granted, there is no owner’s manual on child raising, but fortunately we have the Word of God. I pray that each and every family would be led by the Holy Spirit. I pray each family would invite the Holy Spirit to fill them, minister to them, guide them, encourage them and saturate them in the Word of God! We have a real enemy, the devil, and he likes nothing more than destroying families. Let us pray for and support one another as we seek to make Christ Jesus the Lord of our families. Amen!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
