Repent! Follow Me!

Christ is calling us to be followers today! He is calling us to repentance and a life of discipleship. What does discipleship look like? What does it look like to follow Christ? His desire is to have a genuine relationship with us. That being said, what is your response?
- Does the word Repent (turning from a sinful lifestyle towards God) make you feel uncomfortable? If so, why?
- 2 Peter 3:9 says, “He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (NIV). What does this verse reveal to us about God’s nature?
- Have you responded to Jesus’ call to discipleship? If so, how?
- Is your faith in anyone or anything other than Jesus? If so, what do you plan to do about it?
- Have you completely surrendered your life to Christ? If not, what are you still holding onto?
- Moving forward, how do you plan to be a genuine disciple of Jesus Christ? What steps will you take?
